The highest anticipated kite of 2012 is of course what Youri Zoon world no#1 blew everyone out of the water on in 2011, the RPM. Fast turning from the tips and rapid through the window the 2012 boasts bridle refinements as well as new YZ bar pressure points. Yes you will now kite like Youri. A sick new graphics look for the wing tips makes this beast look as aggresive as it flies. Hook in and buckle up buttercup, cause you're in for hell of a ride!

New 2012 Slingshot RALLY ( 24 June 2011) its for Jo not a Pro

Slingshots newest offer to the fore is the RALLY. A kite for the masses this Delta Open C kite fits the bill for ease of use for all recreational kiters alike. Massive air and float are the joys of this kite, with a C like feel when unhooked as the load stays on the front lines and its upwind performance will rival anything on the market. For the rider who wants to try new things without getting a beating this really is for you. Light on bar pressure but with good kite feedback Slingshot with a small bridle and no pulleys seem to have plugged the (flappy response) gap that other Deltas are guilty of. Expect this kite if Sling market it right to take the beach by storm!! A kite for JO and not just a PRO. 2012 sees refinements to the kite, bridle attachment points and a small conopy change to eliminate any mis-shaping under extra ordinary loads. Its the kite we fell in love with !!

Ocean Republic Reviewed the 2011 Slingshot Rally.

Ocean Republic's very own kiteloop monster Lenny has demo'd it and the performance blew him away. Lenny is C kite rider and not a fan of hybrids or bow kites so the task for the 2011 Rally was large. In particular its low end (light wind) performance had the 12m as the only kite in the air that day. It cuts a line upwind like no other kite. Very faster and pivital turning with nice amount of controllable pull in the kite-loop. Super easy relaunch in deep water. Great lift and surprising long float in the jumps. Lenny has recommended this kite for beginner and intermediate/advanced riders and as a kite for advanced riders trying new tricks.

2010-11 season saw the RALLY as out school kite. Instructors and students all agreed it was a super easy kite to use. 2011-12 will see our range filled with the 2012 RALLY.
